We did a nationwide search to find HBCU students who are establishing their careers well before walking the stage. We follow them to learn how they juggle the demands of it all - classes, business, college life -- and we found so much more. We found inspiration. We found reclamation.
I travelled to Washington D.C. to meet multidisciplinary artist Rachel Motley to tell her story. After having spent time with her as well as directing and editing this project, I’m truly inspired, and hope this film has the same effect on those who watch.
